About Michael:  After spending 12 years in the mutual fund business in Toronto—ten of them with Fidelity Investments—Mike moved across the country and spent almost a decade working with the marginalized in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside. He then moved into the world of donor-advised funds, first with Raymond James, and now with Charitable Impact. Mike helps advisors understand both sides of philanthropy—the donors’, and the charities’—so that they in turn can help their clients achieve their impact goals. Mike also serves as the Chair of the LEAVE A LEGACY™ Committee of the Vancouver chapter of the Canadian Association of Gift Planners.
