Dr Sara Johnson has completed an LL.B., University of Milan, Italy (major in European Anti-Trust Law); LL.M. in European Business Law (major in European Securities and Banking Law)- PALLAS consortium of European Universities; LL.M in US Law, Antonin Scalia Law School, Mason University, Virginia, USA.; a Ph.D. in International Business Management, with a thesis in the field Behavioral Economics, Positive Organizational Behavior on the topic of Employee Engagement from the International School of Management, Paris, France. Completed the JD equalization requirements for both the Canadian Law Societies NCA and US accreditation.
She was called to California State Bar March 2021. She is an accredited TEP, CFP, CSC, PFPC, passed the CSI Options & Derivatives Exam; active member of STEP Canada, Kelowna Chapter and Cross Border Estates SIG; California Lawyers Association; IBA, Art Law Institute; Art Law Association; European Law Institute, PAIAM and ABA. She is a Board member of Third Space Charity. Fluent in English and Italian with working knowledge of French; She studies, writes, lectures and publishes papers on art law and planning, global economic, legal, digital assets and wealth planning topics. Before coming to Canada, she was trained in the UK and worked for the Dutch Central Bank. She is passionate about people, art and all that can be discovered by a curious and inquisitive mind.
